Q: Can we complete the application online?

A: You must save the form to your computer before entering any information. After saving it locally, you may type into the form, if you are using Adobe Acrobat Reader (free download: https://get.adobe.com/reader/). Otherwise, please print out the blank form and complete it manually.

Q: How do we provide proof of non-profit status or fiscal sponsorship?

A: Proof of your non-profit status or fiscal sponsorship could include a copy of your 501(c)(3) paperwork, a letter confirming affiliation with Lander City Parks or Fire Auxiliary, or a copy of your registration with the Wyoming Secretary of State.

Q: What if we don’t spend the money before the Dec 31 deadline?

A: To request an extension to your grant, you must submit a written request to the Rec Board (landerrecboard@gmail.com or P.O. Box 1673, Lander, WY, 82520) before the December Board Meeting. A representative from your organization must attend the Grant Extension Request meeting. Extensions will be approved or denied in writing.
